The Academy of Goal Achievers is a key solution for the economic mobility crisis we have in the city of Charlotte. Our mission and programs address two of the three determinants identified in the Leading on Opportunity Task Force Report. The two we focus on are College & Career Readiness and Family Safety and Stability. These determinants were identified as key activities that help individuals get out of poverty. We connect our students and parents with mentors and increase their natural support system with individuals from diverse backgrounds with the goal of increasing their social capital.
