IN JULY 2020, Concert Choir and Chamber Singers will be travelling to Eugene, Oregon to attend and participate in the Sisters in Song Festival, which exists to bring together girls and women from around the world to make great music in a truly collaborative environment. At this festival, choristers will learn from some of the world's foremost clinicians and conductors, including Dr. Sandra Snow and Dr. Andrea Ramsey. We will also get to experience life on the University of Oregon campus, sing in rehearsals, workshops, and performances, and explore Eugene, Mt. Hood, and surrounding areas.
Why Tour Matters
Tour provides our choristers the opportunities to:
1.) Share their music with a broader audience
2.) Forge lasting friendships and connections
3.) Work with top conductors and clinicians in the field
4.) Develop collaboration skills necessary to work productively as a group
5.) And of course...have fun!
We Need Your Help
Paying for a tour like this one is not something every family can afford, and GCSF doesn't want inability to pay to be a reason why a girl cannot come with us to Oregon this summer. That's where YOU come in - donate now and make it possible to send every chorister that wants to go and sing on tour with us!
Support GCSF and our choristers by giving to our tour fund - any amount makes a difference!
