Hedgespoken Press is a small publishing house producing works of beauty and power in the form of books, posters and art prints. Since producing the first edition of SOMETIMES A WILD GOD in 2015, we've gone on to produce books of poetry, prose, folktales, essays and photography, including THE FIREBIRD, NETTLE-EATER, FALCONER’S JOY and the SEVEN DOORS IN AN UNYIELDING STONE series, as well as prints of Rima’s beautiful ARTWORK. At the time of writing, we have three other books in the works for 2020 and plans for many more in years to come, including collaborations with other writers and artists. We are worker-run, use 100% recycled paper and card, and pay no dividends to shareholders or bosses.
The Friends of Hedgespoken Press scheme is a way for you to directly support our continued existence. Times are hard for many of us and our business and household is no exception. Your support ensures that we are able to continue publishing extraordinary books, as well as commissioning new works and acquiring rights for existing works we think you, our readers would like.
Friends pay £10 a month (£15 outside the UK) and receive a copy of every book we publish for the duration of their membership, including audiobooks and eBooks. Friends also receive a discount on anything they order via the website or buy from us at a stall: 25% on Hedgespoken Press titles and prints. Please note though that the scheme doesn't apply to limited edition books - we will give you advance notice of these, though, and your discount will apply. (This discount also can't be used in conjunction with any other offer requiring a discount code.)
We also have a Friends of Hedgespoken Press ebook scheme. £5 a month gets you a free eBook copy of everything we produce during your membership.
You can sponsor someone else to receive copies of our books, too - click through to find out more about all the options.
This form allows you to pay with card or by PayPal - if you'd prefer to use a bank transfer or other method, just email us at [email protected]
Thank you for supporting our work and allowing us to continue to weave old magic and true soul-nourishing enchantment with our works.
