Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare (FoMCAW) is an all-volunteer fundraising charitable 501(c)(3) whose goal is to enrich the lives of the Manatee County shelter animals. FoMCAW has established several campaigns through which supporters can help: The Heal My Heart Campaign which funds heartworm treatment, the Grace & Friends Medical Fund, which provides treatment of emergency medical situations, our Slumber Fund which gets dogs off the concrete and up on a comfortable bed. Our newest program is Food for Ferals where we purchase bagged cat food, ship to the shelter where feral colony caregivers can pick up, free of charge, to take care of the cats in their community.
