Women facing mastectomy are often offered breast implants as the first or only option to reconstruct their chest wall. However there are survivors, previvors, and explants who would rather forego breast reconstruction surgery for Aesthetic Flat Closure instead. AFC is an increasingly popular, healthy, body-positive, freeing option that has given rise to a worldwide community of flatties who support, educate, and celebrate women who have embraced life without breasts! This documentary is in its early stages, but thanks to your donations we were able to attend the most significant national gathering of flatties of all time on Grand Mesa in Colorado. We are volunteering our time and talent and operating on a shoestring budget, but we need funding to cover events, tell more stories, and promote the film so all women facing breast cancer know they have a choice.
