Family, Friends, and Brothers,
The Epsilon Sigma Chapter has been a home to almost 1700 brothers and currently has over 120 initiated undergraduate brothers, with approximately a third living in the chapter house. Many things have changed since the house was built in 1950 and the vitality of the undergraduates has only grown.
We are proud to own a house as wonderful as the one located at 10918 Strathmore Dr. and the memories associated with this building will never grow old. But houses do not maintain their former glory forever.
In the past few years, the Housing Corporation and Undergraduate Chapter has spent almost $800,000 in renovations and structural improvements such as roofing repairs, seismic precautions, a backyard retaining wall, and new bathrooms.
However, many parts of the house are still in dire need of improvement. Currently, we are in the process of repainting the entire interior of the house as well as small projects that have little cost but great returns. But we are trying to reach higher and strive to do major renovations to improve both curb appeal and interior quality of rooms, hallways, and lighting.
We, the undergraduate brothers, are reaching out to you to help us complete one or more of these tasks. Our chapter has the highest GPA on UCLA's Greek Row and one of the highest nationally among all Lambda Chi chapters, dedicates countless hours to philanthropic service and is viewed as one of the most successful fraternities on and off UCLA's campus. Now it's time for our chapter house to reflect our accomplishments. Please help us in reaching this ultimate goal while we continue a legacy of Epsilon Sigma.
