Feb. 1, 2018 - DALLAS, Ga.— Local business-owner Dan Boles has announced his intent to campaign for the 2019-2022 Post 4 Commissioner term on the Paulding County Board of Commissioners. Capitalizing on his business experience, Boles says he is the ideal candidate to lead the growing and diverse Post 4.
“After being presented with several options and prayerfully weighing each of them, I decided the best use of my time and skills would be serving my community as a grassroots, common-sense commissioner,” Boles said. Boles’ campaign committee received verbal commitments from multiple residents and business owners who are excited to have an accessible business-minded commissioner who is ready to represent the needs of every community within Post 4.
“I’m passionate about my community, and about Paulding County. We’ve got a lot of great people here, and a great history, but there are a lot of growing concerns about infrastructure, taxes, growth, lack of economic development, schools, and home values,” Boles said. “The time is now for us to start finding constructive solutions to those concerns, and to develop collaboration between the communities of Paulding County. We must stop kicking the can down the road, stop wasting taxpayers’ money, and start working toward progress again.” Boles and his wife Amanda have three children who attend Shelton Elementary and Sammy McClure Middle Schools. His family attends Cedarcrest Church, where Boles leads an outdoor- adventure ministry.
