Some of the activities include weekend retreats such as Marriage Encounters, Family Encounters, Solo Parent Encounters, Singles Encounters, Youth Encounters, Soup Kitchen, Nursing Home Visitation, Medical Mission, Life in the Spirit Seminars, and more. All members are volunteers of the Lord and do not receive any remuneration. BLD Newark is a 501(C)(3) tax exempt organization.
