The right to adequate clothing is recognised as a basic human right. Right now, there are 3.4 million Australians who are missing out on this human right. They don’t have access to a warm winter jumper, comfortable, waterproof shoes, shorts and tees for the warmer weather or even a clean pair of underwear. Thread Together are changing that.
Saturday the Label is proud to partner with Thread Together to support their work providing new wardrobes to those who need it most: those affected by the flood, bushfires, those fleeing domestic violence, those in emergency accommodation, refugees, youth at risk, the unemployed and underemployed, and many, many more.
Just $5 provides a brand new wardrobe to someone who needs it. But also: choice, dignity and hope for a better future. This wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of people like you. Thank you for your support.
