As we are all struggling to deal with this unprecedented pandemic, affecting nations and communities worldwide, our Khasa (community center) too has been adversely affected.
On March 13th, in accordance with the Office of the NJ Governor Phil Murphy, our organization was forced to close its doors and shut down in an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
Due to this fact, all sources of revenue for our organization including donations have been lost. While we understand the severe financial hardship that this unprecedented situation has brought upon many of us, we are still in need of financial support. Furthermore, though our financial team has been working non-stop to cut costs and reduce expenses for our organization, a financial gap still remains.
We are now calling upon our membership to pay any past due membership fees, as well as any financial donations they can offer. While we understand this may be difficult for some, we also know that many can contribute to our organization during these difficult times.
Separated we are weak, but together we Adyghe are strong.
As always, we thank you for your continued support and may God bless you.
