The COVID-19 pandemic keeps expanding all around the world at an alarming rate, demanding a global action to contain the spread of this virus and guaranteeing healthcare for the most vulnerable. PIH/CES is working to strengthen the mexican healtcare system, focusing all its efforts on minimizing the spread of the disease in the Sierra Madre area of Chiapas by ensuring that the local health system has the necessary personnel, supplies, space, systems and social support to prevent, detect, diagnose and treat the disease.
