As the daughter of a union electrician and a social worker, Nichole T. Compton is a candidate who understands the struggles that so many middle-class families experience. The eldest of 8 children, Nichole appreciates having a close-knit family and the challenges that accompany balancing family and career. She is a working grandmother raising her 7-year-old grandson "Ace" and proud parent of one son. The experiences as a former young mother, and current certified mediator and arbitrator has afforded her wisdom and knowledge that she draws upon, in her daily life as well as when speaking to parents, young adults and at-risk youth in our community. As a practicing attorney, Nichole has helped many individuals, families and small businesses throughout Kentucky to have adequate representation and an attorney who believes in justice and fights for what is right!
Nichole has a Juris Doctor (law degree) and Master in Business Administration from U of L. Currently, Nichole owns Nichole T. Compton and Associates law firm in Jefferson County, where her practice touches every level of Kentucky trial courts, the Kentucky Court of Appeals and federal court. Additionally, Nichole was selected by Judge Eleanore Garber and Judge Donna Delahanty to serve as a Guardian ad Litem. Further, she is also a Court-approved Certified Mediator and is a Professional Consultant and Trainer speaking nationally.
As a judge, Nichole is committed to bringing competence and uncompromised fairness to the bench.
