We have selected a rural village in the area of Mahawali C division/ Ampara district , Sri Lanka called Serupitiya for this project. The Villagers live well below average SL economic conditions(Average annual household income of Sri Lanka is around 1400 USD according to 2016 figures). This village is burdened with poverty and also a higher percentage of unidentified kidney diseases. With this project we are planning to build a water purifying system as they do not have access to sources of clean water.
