This is the year we are honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Dudley Flood. His commitment to education, service, community, and faith continues to be critical to the work of the Dudley Flood Center for Educational Equity and Opportunity. Join us in celebrating 94 years of excellence. Give a donation to continue the work of equity in an increment of 94! Your support provides us the opportunity to continue his legacy forward. As Dr. Flood says, "The greatest motivator is possibility... we're not there yet. We will get there, but we will only do that if we keep the faith and believe that there is a destination” There is power in many. Be one of many today, encourage someone to match your gift and give in increments of 94 to honor Dr. Dudley E. Flood and to continue our work through his legacy. Your donation supports the following: Legacy Supporter – $94 helps fund specific programming costs. Legacy Champion – $940 supports general operations. Legacy Leader – $9,400 funds a full initiative. Dr. Flood continues the mission of working toward integrated schools. Today, that very work is under attack. 70 years following the Brown vs. Education ruling, student outcomes are tied to race, ethnicity, residential differences, and the resources available between affluent and economically disadvantaged schools and districts. We believe that every student should have access to equitable, culturally responsive, and high-quality educational opportunities that lead to success in college, career, and citizenship.

We work collaboratively to take action toward addressing issues of systemic racism by advocating for structural changes in policy and practice to build an equitable education system that meets the social, emotional, and academic needs of NC’s diverse student population.

We have faith in you and appreciate you being one of many to invest in our work in increments of 94. Will you be one to give $94, $940, or $9400? No gift is too small. Donate today and visit this page to see the collective progress - https://floodcenter.org/celebrate-flood/.

Your investment in our work is a commitment to achieving equity, access, and opportunity for each and every young person in North Carolina.
