Goal

Camilo Rijo Founder of the Music School of El Conde, converted his talent into hope and has inspired dozens of children to leave behind the path to delinquency and to fill the streets of the Zona Colonial with guitars and singing. He was diagnosed with liver cancer and had surgery, but, just a few days ago he received agonizing news.
"You may have a lot of options but in my case I only have one and that is to save my life", Camilo told us. His cancer metastasized, it has moved on from just his liver to his whole body. In order to avoid the cancer cells from spreading, he must take NEXAVAR (Sorafenib) which is an oral chemotherapy treatment that is administered every twelve hours (twice a day) continuously for three years while being under medical supervision. Each bottle of NEXAVAR has 60 pills (one month supply) and costs RD$171,000 (US$3,638) which multiplied by 36 (months) equals RD$6,156,500 (US$130,989).
We want to support Camilo in continuing his beautiful work and that is why we have started this fundraiser. The funds collected will pay for Camilo's cancer treatment.
