Hello Jake, As a chemist, I gave a lecture at an international precious metals conference at the University of Donetsk in September 1994 and had intensive contact with students. At lunchtime, many students disappeared into a courtyard on the campus. As I later found out, they carried out military exercises there. When I asked them why they were doing this, they explained to me that they did not trust the Russians. How right they were! At the same time, my colleagues were inspecting radar housings from the sawn-through SS20 nuclear missiles at a military airfield, in order to later recover the gold contained in them. We witnessed the nuclear disarmament of Ukraine! Since great values were at stake, appropriate meetings were held with high-ranking members of the government and the military. None of them would have dreamed that the so-called Federation would attack its own member in this way!
