In our first year of the Farm...
People: One intern from the US, one intern from Zimbabwe, our Lead Produce Farmer, provisions for the Lead Animal Farmer, 3 resident volunteers.
Food: The Farm produced vegetables, berries and grain to be given away, places in CSA and sold at Farmer’s Markets.
Learning: Visitors from eleven countries and 20 states began to think some new ways of where there food comes from, how it is grown, the direct impact on health and how to sustain the earth.
Assist others: With support to global development and relief around the world. For Mennonite Disaster Service volunteers beds for the nights as they rebuilt a house destroyed by a tornado in Naplate.
You helped the Farm thrive for it’s first year. To date 48% or $24,200 was given by you of the $50,200 budget. Thank you so much!
Now we look to 2019!
Help create the farm as a place to learn and grow!
Please join our desire: for many to find food from the Farm.
To develop the capacity of the farm for sustainable food production.
To design the Farm Learning Center and educational programs that teach and inspire.
To expand personnel: Hire a part time director and give interns opportunities to learn as they raise food.
Please consider gifts to Bear Fruit with the Farm into another year or with monthly support in The Hungry World Farm People Partners.
