Ed's Land of Hope and Glory documentary, along with conversations with my vegan coworkers, made me go vegan in 2018. I'm happily still vegan 5 years later, and I'm writing my dissertation on the importance of reading Animal Farm by George Orwell as a story about animals as well as a human allegory <3 sanctuaries like this one help give me hope when I feel hopeless, and I hope my small contribution can help get that bit closer to getting a new barn (and best wishes to you all and the animals during such crappy expensive times in the UK!) x
