Autostraddle was one of the only reliable sources of information when it came to queerness when I came out in 2013 that I found on the internet. It was because of A-Camp in 2016 that I found the courage to embrace my transness/genderqueerness as valid and gave me the courage to leave my abusive relationship. Although I'm only an occassional auto-straddle reader now, I can't thank this site enough for what it did for my younger self. I want it to be here for the long run to be a home to new queer and trans people on the internet.
