I can totally relate to this poor kitty in need. My late Brewster became diabetic his last two years of life and required insulin injections twice daily and the expensive cost of Purina DM. I truly believe regulating his blood sugar gave us those last two years with him. Invest in a good meter because in the beginning you’ll be monitoring levels through the day to get a good baseline.

Our beloved kitty, Winston, also was diagnosed with diabetes (after a periodontal problem with a broken tooth.) It's a little tricky to get into the routine of the insulin shots but they work great and Ahi will do just fine. Keep the thoughts positive! <3
