Goal
In this season of gratitude and giving, we wanted to write to express our deep thanks for your support of the Arts Council of Tamworth as we continue to fulfill our mission of providing accessible arts programs and opportunities to the greater Tamworth community.
In the spring we brought classical Indian dancer Mouli Pal to the K.A. Brett School to share her love of dance with our young students. We launched a successful new summer festival, An Afternoon by the Swift, which inspired comments from festival goers such as “What a blast this was” and “I feel as if summer in Tamworth began today.” In the fall, we hosted a song-writing workshop with singer-songwriter Briana Cash and on November 15th, we’ll present poetry and music from bard band Los Lorcas.
All of these events and programs were provided to Tamworth with the ability to attend for free, in line with the Arts Council’s belief in making the arts accessible to everyone–and we could not have accomplished this without the support of our donors, our volunteers, and our community cheerleaders. This includes the Tamworth Foundation, from which we are grateful to receive an annual endowment, but as is the case with many non-profit organizations, our needs exceed our currently available resources.
As we prepare to enter 2025 and a whole new year of artistic endeavors, we are asking you to consider donating to the Arts Council of Tamworth. Please consider a one-time donation or, if you are able, an ongoing monthly donation–as little as $5 per month makes a world of difference. Your generosity will allow us to build on our past accomplishments to create a community where the arts flourish and are available to everyone.
Thank you for your continued support, and best wishes for a happy and healthy new year!
