Business SA is fiercely independent and unashamedly pro commerce, as the voice of business in South Australia. As the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Business SA can trace its origins back to 1839, and is the second oldest Chamber of Commerce in the nation.
The modern-day Business SA works to ensure the broader economic environment is conducive to successful business in an increasingly globalised economy.
Being independent means we can say what needs to be said and do what needs to be done without fear or favour with our dealings with government, political parties, media, stakeholder groups and other influences.
Being independent means we rely on revenue raised from sponsorship and donations to stay open. Without you and organisations such as yours we cannot exist. And if we didn't exist who else would do all the things we do for businesses in South Australia?
We need your financial support to undertake activities such as funded research, policy assessment and development, public awareness campaigns, course scholarships and representative business advocacy.
Any contribution*, large or small will be greatly appreciated, and help us ensure the needs of business are heard.
Thank you
Martin Haese
Business SA Chief Executive
