Elias Ramirez for COM Board of Trustees

"As a first-gen American born and raised in Texas, Elias has always had a strong connection to his community. Growing up in Texas City, he developed a passion for making a positive impact in his surroundings, which led him to become the leader of the Environmental Science Club, "Green Stings" at Texas City High School. As he graduated in the class of 2021, he continues to make an impact in the community by serving as the President of the Community Engagement Club at, College of the Mainland. He is currently pursuing his Associate of Arts in General Studies and plans to transfer to the University of Houston-Clear Lake to obtain his Bachelor's in Public Service Leadership. His mission is to empower and amplify voices in the community, prioritize student and community engagement, and advocate for the respect of families and responsible use of resources."
