Foster Boonchu and Fam

Meet Booncchu, Isara Foundation's newest rescue. She is 40 plus years and has spent her life toiling in Thailand's logging and riding industries. With weak eyes, missing teeth, and other ailments, she's in need of care. Together, supporters can rewrite Boonchu's story, securing her medical care. Boonchu is now retired in sanctuary at the Isara Elephant Foundation, free from exploitation, to live out her days foraging in the forests of northern Thailand with her sister by friendship, Sri Chan.
