Shakespeare Educational Fund

The Shakespeare Educational Fund brings the power of live Shakespeare performance directly to schools each year.

Lanes Coven Theater Co. tours one 75-minute cut of a Shakespeare play to local schools in March, performing dynamic, easy-to-understand Shakespeare productions that spark curiosity, excitement, and a connection to Shakespeare's plays.

Your support removes financial barriers that often keep schools—especially under-resourced ones—from experiencing live theatre by helping cover performance costs. This ensures that students don’t just read Shakespeare, but see it and feel it come alive.

Performances are always paired with interactive talk-backs, inviting the students to ask questions. Sometimes in-class workshops precede the performance for students to explore the language, and discover that Shakespeare’s stories still speak to their own lives.

By contributing to the Shakespeare Educational Fund, you will ensure a performance at O'Malley Middle School each year. Remaining funds will supplement costs for other schools in need of financial aid, or that qualify as a Title 1 School.

Please donate and help share the stories, the beauty, the humanity, and the majesty of Shakespeare's work with the next generation!
