Every thriving garden begins with a single seed.

At the Ecological Culture Initiative (ECI), we believe the same is true for our community. Every membership, every donation, and every volunteer help cultivate a healthier, more connected, and more sustainable East End.

Membership contributions of $5 a month or $50 a year will benefit our community for generations to come and include invitations to ECI’s farm-to-table dinners at St. Joseph Villa and a subscription to ECI e-news for opportunities to get involved, seasonal updates and events. 

We’re investing in the place we call home.

This support helps children discover where their food comes from and empowers families to grow their own gardens through our free seed library. It transforms food scraps into healthy soil instead of landfill waste. It supports thriving pollinator habitats, educational programs, and gardens that provide fresh organic produce for neighbors facing food insecurity. 

ECI’s supporters have grown into a community of more than 950 members who believe in protecting the East End. Your donation helps ensure that we’ll continue our programs, reach more families, and inspire the next generation for years to come.
