Bees are an essential pollinator, vital to the health of the environment, food security, and human life. One out of every three bites of food people take is courtesy of bee pollination. The increased use of pesticides, fungicides and other environmental factors has caused a sharp nationwide decline in bee populations and other pollinators. Our hope is to be able to continue expanding our apiary and creating a safe haven for bees and other important pollinators in our community.

If you have any questions about the beekeeping program or sponsorship, please contact Devan & Tricia at eciapiary@gmail.com

*Our focus for the 2025 season is to make sure we leave the bees with sufficient food stores to survive winter. We have lowered the amount of honey from past seasons with the hope of achieving this. We appreciate your support and understanding for the recent change.

If you prefer postal mail, we welcome checks payable to the "Ecological Culture Initiative" with "Sponsor A Hive" as a memo sent to "81 Lynn Avenue, Hampton Bays, NY 11946"

Or contribute online using Donorbox, which offers options for Credit Card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and ACH Electronic Bank Transfers.

Whichever way you can help, ECI thanks you for your support!
