In the Bombardopolis region, many widows are facing unimaginable hardship. After losing their husbands, countless women are left without income, protection, or support—often responsible for caring for children while struggling to meet even their most basic needs. Some endure days without food. Others live without safe shelter or access to medical care. Many have been abandoned and forgotten.
The Widow Support Program was created to respond to this urgent need with compassion, dignity, and faith. Our goal is not only to help widows survive, but to help them regain stability, hope, and the ability to care for themselves and their families.
Through this program, we provide:
Food assistance, ensuring widows and their children receive nourishing meals
Safe shelter support, helping protect them from exposure and unsafe living conditions
Medical care, offering access to basic and essential healthcare services
Skills and vocational training, empowering widows to gain independence and build a sustainable future
Each widow we serve has a story marked by loss, resilience, and strength. By coming alongside them, we offer more than aid—we offer encouragement, dignity, and the reassurance that they are not alone.
This work is deeply rooted in our faith and our calling to care for the most vulnerable. Scripture reminds us that caring for widows is close to God’s heart, and through this program, we seek to live out that calling in a tangible way.
With your support, widows in our community are finding hope again—one meal, one skill learned, and one step forward at a time.
