Ofc. Dustin Moody Trafalgar, Indiana

Officer Dustin Moody (30) has been an officer with the Trafalgar Police Department since June 2019.   On June 25th, 2022, Officer Moody was in pursuit of a vehicle when his vehicle and the other vehicle left the roadway and crashed down an embankment. 

Officer Moody sustained 11 broken ribs, a sprinal cord injury, a collapsed lung, a broken Femur and pelvic. 

Officer Moody is currently paralyzed and at a Chicago hospital receiving neurological care. As of 7/27/22, the Chief of Trafalgar police had advised he does have some sensation. 

Officer Moody has a wife and two children aged 4 months and 4 years of age.
