🝰 dusk

🝰 dusk is a completely free and open-source cloud drive designed for activists who face potential device seizure.

It runs on your computer and creates a virtual encrypted filesystem you can access from anywhere using Tor. It connects to other members of your affinity group running 🝰 dusk to create an anonymous zero-knowledge distributed cloud. Your files get encrypted, encoded with recovery data, then mixed up and spread across your network. Your files do not exist in full on your device. If your device is seized, your network can deny recovery of your files and since your data does not exist on your device, it cannot be viewed or proven to exist.

🝰 dusk has other neat properties, like being able to run without an internet connection - instead running off a series of USB drives held by members of your affinity network. There are also many possibilities for developers to build apps on 🝰 dusk using it's API. And it speaks WebDAV, so you can collaborate on files with your group. I'm excited to see this project grow.

🝰 dusk is the culmination of over a decade working on distributed storage systems and privacy technology and I am very happy to bring it to you. It is a bit of a mad science project, so I invite you to try it out, test, and help improve it so we can keep each other safe.

See you never ;)
