Goal
Young people are searching for community right now.
With schools closed, and online learning slow to adapt to the needs of teenagers in this moment, the Dual School community offers workshops, resources, and community for high school students who want to become social activists and entrepreneurs.
Young people from 30 states and 15 countries have applied to join our community, and more than half require a scholarship to participate. For just $20, you can allow one student access to the Dual School community for a year.
In just two short years, we've seen some incredible student success such as:
- Daniela started a club at her school to ensure all young people have access to higher education regardless of their background
- Jayvon has sold thousands of dollars of brownies to raise money in support of organizations who serve people experiencing homelessness
- Megan published a children's book about implicit bias on Amazon and has sold hundreds of copies to local educators
- Michael just won $750 at a University of Delaware pitch competition for his project to expand access to video game development to more young people
- Nabiha has been champion for eliminating the tampon tax in all states by creating media and leading a rally
- Andres created a series of holiday experience for a refugee family to welcome them into an inclusive community
- Adé used her Dual School experience to land an internship at the Teen Warehouse, a role with a political campaign and a fellowship with Network Delaware to pursue advocacy work
