About Dr. Moses Paul (“Dr. Mo”)

A protégé of His Excellency Peter Obi, Dr. Moses Paul — widely known as Dr. Mo or “MadMo” — stands at the forefront of a new generation of Nigerian leaders inspired by integrity, vision, and service.

A dynamic entrepreneur, social activist, performer, scholar, and thought leader, Dr. Mo represents the bold, creative, and values-driven leadership Nigeria urgently needs. He is a man of action, conviction, and faith, whose work has touched countless lives across Nigeria, the African continent, and the global diaspora.

With a Ph.D. in Environmental Resource Planning and over 20 years of experience, Dr. Mo has successfully planned and executed hundreds of transformative events that have empowered youth, advanced civic engagement, and strengthened democratic participation.

A Message from Dr. Mo — My Vision for AMAC and Beyond

I am running for Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) because AMAC is not just another local government — it is the heartbeat of the Federal Capital Territory, the mirror through which the entire world views Nigeria.

AMAC represents every tribe, every faith, every economic class, and every aspiration of our people. What happens in AMAC does not stay local — it shapes national perception, global engagement, and the dignity of our citizens.

What makes AMAC truly unique is its strategic importance:

  • AMAC is the capital of Africa’s political capital — the only local government in Nigeria whose administrative and economic impact is felt by both citizens and global stakeholders.

  • AMAC has the highest concentration of young people, professionals, embassies, markets, informal sectors, and international institutions, yet it suffers from glaring inequality in service delivery, infrastructure, and social welfare.

  • AMAC is where the promise of Nigeria must be proven — because if we cannot get governance right at the center of the nation, we cannot get it right anywhere.

I am running because AMAC needs more than an administrator; it needs a visionary. It needs leadership that understands its global relevance but is committed to grassroots transformation.

This is not a race for power — this is a mission to demonstrate what true governance looks like when leadership is people-centered, data-driven, inclusive, and accountable.

My candidacy is a movement to:

  • Restore dignity to every community in AMAC, whether urban or rural.

  • Unlock the economic potential of our people through innovation, entrepreneurship, and infrastructure.

  • Deliver decentralized leadership that brings government directly to the people.

  • Show Nigeria and the world that local governance can work — and can become a model for national transformation.

AMAC is different because AMAC is the beginning of the New Nigeria. And that is why I am running — not just to win an election, but to start a revolution in governance, from the grassroots to the global stage.

Championing a New Generation
