Down Syndrome Awareness/Acceptance Month

Our family spends every day spreading Down syndrome Awareness/Acceptance. I share online and print books each day with new and expectant parents and doctors learning about a new diagnosis, and I go to conferences nationwide talking to doctors about how to improve diagnosis experiences because that first conversation frames everything. I was so fortunate that my first conversation was with Nancy who showed me a photo of Josh on a bike and gave me a book about Down syndrome right away.
