Insight Santa Cruz is a meditation community that offers daily sits, classes, and other programs that support those interested in the path of awakening through mindfulness and loving-kindness. People come to ISC looking for refuge from stress; others enjoy the opportunity to practice in community; others wish to learn about Buddhist teachings. Everyone is welcome.

Founded over 30 years ago, ISC programs are offered freely, without charge. Our teachers are volunteers and receive donations (or “dana”) from those in their classes. The center is run by volunteers who offer their time and services.
