Your gift today will help us in so many ways!  You will be part of keeping all of our support groups, classes and advocacy going strong.

In addition to your donation, we hope you also consider joining or renewing your NAMI membership.  NAMI membership dues are shared between NAMI National, NAMI California and NAMI Santa Cruz County.

Memberships are not Tax Deductible.

NAMI National and NAMI California each receive $20 for each Household membership, $10 for each Individual membership and $1 for each Open Door membership.  NAMI Santa Cruz County receives $20 for each Household membership, $20 for each Individual membership and $3 for each Open Door membership.

As of July 1, 2017, NAMI is adding a Household Membership.  A household consists of any individuals living at the same address. This could be a family in the “traditional” sense (spouses plus children) or even roommates. The NAMI National Board chose “Household” to be more inclusive and to simplify the distribution of benefits. Keep in mind that this is not a Family membership.  It is intended to allow all individuals living at the same address to be counted as members in NAMI with the benefits of membership being applies to each member listed as part of the household. The household membership will only receive one copy ofthe NAMI Advocate, but all other member benefits are granted to each listed member.

An Individual Membership is intended for one person to become a member of NAMI. We recognize there are two different names for this membership.

An Open Door Membership is the same as an Individual Membership but allows for a reduced dues payment.   Open Door members are defined by income or economic necessity.  Open Door members shall have all the rights and privileges of members who pay full dues.
