Why I Support Pink Jet

My name is Martha Giordano, and I am honored to serve as a Pink Jet Ambassador. 

Aviation has been a part of my life for many years. I began my journey as a flight attendant and later worked in airline operations. Today, I am pursuing my dream of becoming a professional pilot. Returning to aviation has reminded me that it is never too late to follow a dream and challenge yourself to reach new heights.

Before returning to aviation, I built a career in nursing. Caring for patients taught me compassion, resilience, and the importance of serving others during some of life’s most difficult moments. Those experiences continue to shape who I am and how I approach both my personal and professional life.

As a Filipino American woman, representation is important to me. Growing up, I rarely saw women who looked like me in aviation. Today, as a student pilot working toward the flight deck, I hope my journey encourages others to believe that their goals are possible regardless of their background, age, or circumstances.

I am also the proud mother of two amazing boys. More than anything, I want them to see the value of perseverance, compassion, and giving back to the community. I want them to know that success is not just about achieving personal goals, but also about using your platform to help others and make a positive impact.

That is one of the reasons Pink Jet’s mission resonates so deeply with me. Pink Jet is more than an airplane; it is a symbol of hope, strength, awareness, and support for individuals and families affected by breast cancer. 

Through education, outreach, mentorship, and fundraising, Pink Jet helps create meaningful change while inspiring future generations in aviation.
