Emergency Hospitalization for New Dog Sienna!
Sienna was rescued from SEAACA animal shelter in Downey, CA just a few days ago. The poor girl was so matted and frightened that she was shaking like a leaf. We knew we just had to rescue her, so Sienna became an official Camp Cocker dog! We brought her to our vet right away, where she got a simple shave down and basic check up, and we thought we had the all clear for Sienna to start her new life with the right paw forward.
However, after we pulled Sienna from the shelter, we learned she wasn't eating her meals and was feeling lethargic. We brought her back to the vet, and they told us she had a fever of 104 degrees! The vet gave her oxygen and fluids last night, and now her temperature is down to 102.5 degrees. The vet told us she has pneumonia. Poor Sienna!
Please consider making a donation to our dear, sweet Sienna. She's had such a rough start out of the gate, and we really need the Camp Cocker Village to rally to get her through this hiccup on her road to happiness.
No donation is too small to change this little girl's life and help her get back up on her paws as a healthy and beautiful dog!
Thank you so much for your support of Camp Cocker Rescue!
