Louise was just rescued

from the Baldwin Park animal shelter!

Every time we think we've seen it all, we realize we haven't. We've never had a dog that had such a severe fox tail infestation that an MRI is being recommended (the description in the shelter's medical notes make it seem like there are fox tail tracts all over, with some even coming out of her vulva).

We think the suggestion of an MRI is because if there are this many fox tails, some could have migrated into her organs and you have to get those out or a mass will eventually form around them and kill the dog at some point in the future.

This poor dog. The records show the owner turned her it but I imagine the owner did not face any sort of consequences. They rarely do.
