North Country Chorus FY23 Annual Appeal
THIS IS LAST YEAR'S ANNUAL APPEAL PAGE.
GO TO https://donorbox.org/donatencc2023 FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.
Dear Friend of North Country Chorus,
After an extended hiatus due to COVID, the North Country Chorus was back with energy and enthusiasm for the 2021-2022 season performing major works for both the Winter and Spring Seasons - albeit with masks. We are most appreciative of your past attendance and financial support. Currently, a search is underway for a qualified director for the Youth Chorus, which we hope can be resumed for the Spring Season.
We are hard at work preparing for our Holiday Concert. We will be performing Magnificat by Johann Sebastian Bach and Matthew Harris's A Child's Christmas in Wales. Concerts are on Saturday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wells River Congregational Church, and on Sunday, December 4 at 3:00 p.m. at South Church Hall in St. Johnsbury. The Spring Concert will feature Craig Hella Johnson's Considering Matthew Shepard.
A small cultural organization like North Country Chorus is unable to sustain itself without additional donations. Unfortunately, the expenses associated with each performance - which include the soloists and the orchestra that add so much to the performances - are about three thousand dollars more than the proceeds from at-the-door sales. Your ongoing support is crucial for our success. Along with your attendance at our concerts, your donations are deeply appreciated and essential to keeping this joyful musical experience alive in our community.
Please consider contributing today. Donations received by November 19 will be acknowledged in the Holiday Concert program. Those received subsequently will be acknowledged in the Spring Concert program. If you are interested in placing an ad in our programs, please indicate that on the form and a chorus member will contact you with details.
Thank you in advance for your love of music and continued support, both by attendance and by donation.
Sincerely,
Members of the North Country Chorus
