Hello all, I'm going to be setting off on the 14th of July on the GB Divide ultra distance bikepacking route, this route starts in Lands end and finishes at John O' Groats some 1,223 miles later. I have no doubt this is going to be extremely tough and push me to my absolute limit. So I decided if I'm going to do it I want to try and raise some money for a worthy charity whilst doing so! 


Ive chosen man down as it is such a great grass roots level charity, I think this is really important as it means their is a tangible result from any money raised and it offers a brilliant support network for local people in our community. Furthermore and primarily its above all a very important cause, having had my own struggles at times with mental health and depression I think its really important for their to be a provision for men to be able to talk about this as its something that has a lot of stigma attached to it and has a proclivity to be brushed under the carpet, sadly too often to the individuals or the community's detriment.


So if you can spare anything at all its going to a great cause, Thank you!
