Donate to Man Down UK CIC

Hello!

It’s time for our next great adventure and this time it takes us to Scafell Pike, the highest peak in England!

In April, we will be climbing 3,209 ft to raise money for Man Down. We want to support Man Down in their aim to end the stigma of reaching out for support and reducing the number of male suicides in Cornwall. 

This chosen charity is close to all of our hearts and we will be walking in memory of those we have lost;  Mike O’Connell, Morgan Wildman, Billy Baker and Luke Howes.

If you don’t know much about Man Down, they provide informal, non-judgmental, peer-support talking groups all over Cornwall for men with mental health concerns. Fortnightly meetings are held in 18 locations across Cornwall but they want to grow that to 33, so the whole county is covered to allow for easier access for any man with metal health concerns.

We would be so very grateful for any donations you can afford to give. The following statistics show the huge need to encourage men to speak out about their feelings. 12 men a day in the UK take their own life and Cornwall as a county, has the third highest suicide rate in the country.
