Donate and Help Save a Life!

OBG welcomes donations of any size throughout the year.  On average, OBG spends $1000 per foster dog for medical vetting and initial kenneling at our vet's office.  Our adoption fee is only $350 so we need YOUR donations throughout the year to offset these expenses. 


All dogs have all received the following vetting, unless otherwise noted:

  • Complete Physical Exam
  • Spay or Neuter
  • Shots: Rabies, DHLPP & Bordatella
  • Urinalysis and Fecal Tests
  • Screening: Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia & Anaplasma
  • Monthly Prevention for Heartworm, Fleas & Ticks
  • Senior Bloodwork
  • Non-Elective Surgery

Three of the most costly treatments we pay for include heart worm treatment ($1500); cataract surgery ($2500) and total ear ablation surgery ($3500).

In 2008 I adopted a red cocker named Copper from you. He was a beautiful, sweet dog. He had been left in a backyard to starve and was brought to you by the police. He ended up with asthma so we only got to be together about 2 years but I have no regrets, he was special and we dearly loved each other.
