PCRC’s mission is to create vibrant communities. We define vibrancy as: reduced community violence, increased civic engagement, and improved resilience. Based on the racial and ethnic disparities that persist today across critical issues, PCRC’s work is more pertinent than ever. Today, after 35 years of commitment to the San Mateo County community, PCRC is offering core services, resource coordination, and tailored activities within high needs neighborhoods, jails, workplaces, and schools.

"This resource on our campus is invaluable and we appreciate the partnership that continues to emerge for the bettering of our school community."  - Shamar Shanks, Principal Capuchino High School

PCRC is driving more empathy, healing, and effective communication into communities through our comprehensive program model. All of PCRC's work is rooted in our three core competencies - building skills, transforming conflict and leveraging strengths. In order to drive equity, PCRC’s entire program model is rooted in strengthening these competencies - both at the individual and system-level. PCRC’s core services include: mediation, coaching and training in conflict resolution, cultural humility and community outreach.

We are a 501(c)(3) charitiable organization, tax ID 77-0144-000. All the contributions are tax deductible. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for the contribution.
