Eternal thanks and immense gratitude to Betsy514 and r/StudentLoans. I've been dutifully paying since 2001. Never ever thought forgiveness would become a reality for oldies and long haulers like me. But now I am finally free of this $68K albatross around my neck. My life has truly changed forever, for the better!

ELIZABETH | $10

Betsy, I know $10 isn't nearly enough, but I hope my sincere thank you on behalf of all the once-stuck FFELP loan holders will do in its place.

Tracy | $620

This is what I’ve been paying monthly for 25 years…and I’d have paid it until I was 84 years old (another 20 years) without the advocacy of TISLA helping to make this absolute MIRACLE happen in my life. I have been rescued, but there is still so much to do and a system to be changed so that no other generations have to suffer under such a broken system. Thank you for giving me back my life.

Loans gone at the age of 72. I am glad to forget this mess in my life, but the positive experience on Redditt with all my fellow long timers and you, Betsy, I will be with me the rest of my life!

This is my "final" student loan payment, and I am so proud to make it. The work TISLA does helps millions, although most are completely unaware. I've encouraged others to also donate an amount equivalent to their monthly loan payment, so that TISLA may carry on and continue its vital work for generations to come. THANK YOU.
