Donate to the Stratford Police Officers Union 2026 Campaign
Local 407 represents nearly 120 dedicated police officers of the Stratford Police Department. These men and women work around the clock, often under challenging and unpredictable conditions to ensure the safety and security of our town. As such, maintaining their physical health, mental resilience, and overall morale is essential not only to their well-being, but to the quality of service they provide to the community.
This year marks an important milestone for our union. For the first time, we are conducting our fundraising efforts independently, allowing us to build stronger, more direct relationships with our community partners and supporters.
Funds raised will be used to directly benefit our membership through initiatives such as:
- Officer wellness and mental health programs
- Maintenance, upgrades, and equipment for our Police Department gym
- Providing meals for officers working long shifts, holidays, and during times when local establishments are closed
- Scholarships for the children of Stratford Police officers, supporting their educational goals and future success
- Providing financial assistance to officers who are sick or injured in the line of duty, helping ease the burden during difficult times
- Family support programs for officers and their loved ones
- Donations and sponsorships to other community groups and youth groups such as our PAL programs
