Environmental Sustainability: Galvez Garden

We’re looking forward to continuing to maintain the Galvez Garden, a recognized USDA people’s garden, for the community of St. Roch. In addition to offering free community compost collections weekly, all food grown at the garden is shared with the community. Your contributions help us pay for water for our urban vegetable garden and native plants growing on site. 

Education: Budding Artists

We’re thrilled about offering our Budding Artists program for 2-5 year olds and their caregivers again this spring at the public library, and want add more programming to our calendar! Your donation will support our ability to continue to offer art and literacy educational workshops, focused on sustainability and local ecology, to local children and their caregivers , free of charge.

Supporting New Orleans Culture and Culture Bearers

Finally, we love New Orleans and believe in supporting the culture bearers that make it such a special place to call home. We’d like to raise funds to extend our opportunities for artists and offer Artist-in-Residency opportunities to Southern Artists. With your support we can pay an Artist stipend to fund local culture bearers in creating sustainable, educational, and environmentally focused artworks.
