Donate to SPC Programs
The Sequoia Parks Conservancy seeks donations for the following fundraising projects and programs:
SEKI CC
Donations support Sequoia and Kings Canyon Conservation Corps (SEKI CC). This program helps young adults, ages 18-24, gain hands-on job training while undertaking essential conservation projects in public lands.
Resource and Restoration
Donations support complete restoration of meadows disturbed by past grazing, logging, and other practices. Current areas of need include Grant Grove and Halsted Meadows.
Wildlife Management
Donation go towards protecting black bears from human conflict, reintroducing Sierra Nevada Bighorn Sheep to the Sierra Nevada Crest, and recovering critical habitat for the endangered Mountain Yellow-Legged Frog.
Education and Outreach
Donations are needed to provide badges, booklets, and guided information to support the parks' Junior Ranger program. Donations also support Rangers in the Classroom, summer internships, and other service learning programs that support outdoor learning for K-12 schools in the San Joaquin Valley of California.
Trails and Access
Donations go towards the repair of damaged trails that pass through the front country and wilderness of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
Search and Rescue
Donations go towards Search and Rescue support in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Each year, there are nearly 150 search and rescue operations for visitors with emergency needs.
