Please donate to the Stop the Arc campaign
We Need Your Help
The Stop the Arc Group believes there is no need for excessive development of the Oxford-Cambridge Arc, and the destruction of the natural environment that will involve, and we will actively campaign against it and support other organisations with the same objectives.
We will fight over-development of the Ox-Cam area, and strive to educate people about the threats to our countryside posed by these Whitehall plans.
We are an entirely voluntary organisation and pay no staff. Our funding comes only from individuals such as yourself. We promise to spend whatever you give us very carefully and only to promote Stop the Arc's activities.
When you donate, please consider making a regular contribution to the campaign by monthly direct debits. This gives us a more regular cash flow and helps us to plan ahead.
£5 monthly could pay for 3 campaign posters per year
£20 could pay for one A1 printed colour poster for our travelling displays
£40 could pay for 250 A5 printed leaflets for the campaign
£60 could pay for one month of MailChimp (mass email) services for our campaign
£70 could pay for one pole and two panels for our travelling pagoda display
£220 could pay to run our website for one year, or to pay our Zoom subscription for one year.
£300 could pay for a 3 minutes of a Stop the Arc information video
£500 could pay for a 5 minutes of a Stop the Arc information video
£1,000 could pay almost the entire costs of our Facebook campaign adverts for the Local Elections (adverts during our 2021 campaign were seen by over 138,000 viewers! We are planning similar coverage for the 2022 elections)
A greater or other amount could contribute to the cost of political consultants or professional support for our campaign in general and in preparation for Planning Inspectorate hearings.
Stop the Arc is now a registered Community Benefit Society, CBS, (Reg. No. 8806) with charitable status, which allows us to reclaim tax on donations from UK taxpayers.
