Donate to Local Welcome

Local Welcome is a small charity that breaks down barriers between refugees and local people through food. I've supported them as a trustee and I know it works, so I'm hoping you'll help me make more of these meals possible.

Every £50 we raise would pay for the ingredients for one Local Welcome meal where 30-40 locals and refugees get together to cook and eat a delicious meal from scratch.

On 18th June 2026 I'm riding the 170-mile / 275km Way of the Roses from Morecambe in the West to Bridlington in the East, with the support of friends Pete & Paul. I need to finish it within 2 days but with the right conditions I might even make it in a single day.
