Donate to Friendship Works
For over forty years our Friendship Works service has been providing volunteer mentors to children and young adults facing multiple disadvantages in life.
Young people like these with experiences such as the impact of domestic violence, caring for family members or managing their own mental health problems often experience social isolation and low self-esteem. They are at higher risk of drug and alcohol addiction or becoming involved in criminal activity and less likely to achieve academically, whilst more likely to experience poor mental health in later life.
By donating today you can help us match a young person in need with a long term mentor, giving them access to new opportunities and a safe, trusted friendship. With your help we can support young people to build their self confidence, strengthen their emotional wellbeing and develop the resilience needed to manage adversity now and in the future.
